Rather than applying one faux-historic style across the city, the guide derives each district’s era identity and spatial language from its formation, people, events and defining period.

How the case unfolds
Zigong by Eras does not put one retro shell over the city. It asks when and why each district formed, which people and events shaped it, and what traces of life remain tangible. Those answers establish a distinct era identity for each district, then guide building fronts, streets, programming and public expression so the city’s layers of time can inform renewal.
