About SEMI CITY

SEMI CITY is a semi-urban studio founded by an urban planner. The name draws on a landscape shared by many Chinese cities — half green mountains, half city blocks: a city is never made of buildings and roads alone. Half of it is nature and everyday life; half is planned, and half grows out of time and the people who live in it.

SEMI CITY turns local knowledge, urban memory and planning expertise into content, tools, maps and projects that people can read, search, use and build upon.
